Ah
Jakarta, Blokeng , Syukuran Sutawabor, The Bright House, Kenthus, People Across Kali, Wangon Jatilawang
, Beggars and Shalawat Badar. Here I will
review some short stories by Ahmad Tohari. Here are some
short stories I'll review:
· Senyum Karyamin
Karyamin
stepped slowly and very carefully. The weight pressing on his shoulders was a pikulan
hung two stone baskets times. The dirt road he climbed was already slippery
soaked in water dripping from the bodies of his and his friend. Karyamin has
experience so that every trip is safe. Namely walking
uphill while keeping the weight point of the load and
body fixed on the sole of the left or right foot. Nonetheless, this morning Karyamin had slipped twice., his body collapsed and
then slipped down. "I have, Min. Go home, I think your heart is
left at home so you are lackluster all the time" Sarji said. And Karyamin was still sitting down looking at his two messy and hollow baskets. The weak blowing wind made her
skin get goose bumps, even though the sun was already high enough. He picked up
baskets and cups, and then he walked home on the ramp. Karyamin heard
the sound of his own
breathing. Vaguely, karyamin also heard his own heartbeat. His bloated hull shook and collapsed his body
balance and then fell.
· Si Minem Beranak Bayi
The
roots hang on the cliffs of
that road. Reaching out
like dead claws that want to reach the ground.
Kasdu's rapid steps were accompanied by the sound of "crepe-crepe" the sound of crushed dry
leaves being stepped on. Under the
eyes the face of the kasdu
looked louder and harder, the eyebrows of the eyes hiding a heavy look. In front
of the earthen niche that used to hold those tears, Kasdu stood mute. The baby is small , so small, it
shouldn't be necessary to give birth to the baby. But the arm-sized baby was knocked out of Minem's
womb when Minem fell while carrying a
bucket full of water. "That's
right, Minem has a baby lambing. It is very small
because not to mention the seven months of pregnancy," said Kasdu. I don't know. It
may be that the man-in-law is really surprised, but at the same time he smiles because next month he will be at home
again, this time Minah, Minem's twelve-year-old sister is about to get a husband. "My children
are indeed in demand" The male in-laws said silently in their hearts. Proud of him.
I think this book is suitable as a reading for relaxing at home, a typical rural story with innocent people
that really attracts
the attention of readers. In addition we
also get a lot of new vocabulary that may be unfamiliar to our ears. That's all from
me more or
less I apologize, and thank you
